Man-Made Headland

The Leslie Street Spit is a man-made headland in Toronto. It is about 5 kilometres long. Tommy Thompson Park is located inside. The Park Master Plan is the long-term vision for Toronto Urban Wilderness. It aims to create, enhance, restore and protect the natural features of the man-made landscape while providing recreational opportunities for all.

Birds

Forests, marsh are important for small animals, insects, reptiles and wild plants. A cording to the study report there are around 400 species of plants, more than 300 species of birds.

Butterfly & flowers

There are also 50 species of butterflies, 42 species of moths and 17 species of dragonflies there are spiders, flying insects, crawling insects and aquatic invertebrates are found on the Park.
